Accommodation

La Forge is a modern home converted from the original village blacksmith’s workshop. The house sleeps four people in two double bedrooms and there is also a double sofa bed in the first floor salon.

The accommodation consists of two double bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen and two salons.

On the ground floor is the large feature bedroom. Converted from the original forge this is a deep cool room in the heat of summer. The vaulted ceiling runs the length of the room and French windows open directly onto the square. Across the entrance hall is access to a large shower room and stairs leading to the first floor.

The kitchen, on the first floor is fitted with washing machine, dishwasher, cooker and fridge and has a small dining/breakfast area. There’s also access to the balcony if you fancy breakfast al fresco.

Adjoining the kitchen is the main salon with two comfortable sofas, one of which converts to a double bed, and additional seating arranged around the fireplace. There’s further access to the balcony overlooking the square through French windows.

From the kitchen, an open staircase rises to the second floor dining salon. There is a large dining table which comfortably seats six and will extend to seat eight if you want to entertain. Occasional seating also makes this a pleasant place to read or watch the comings and goings in the square.

Through the dining salon is the second bedroom with en suite shower, a built in wardrobe and a large kingsize bed.
